(2023)
Helios stages intimate moments in the nascent relationship of an interracial couple to explore how self-fulfilling prophecies can lead to its demise. The film examines how even the most awkward emotional missteps can reveal underlying truths and personal blind spots.
By observing these interactions, Helios seeks to understand the unspoken dynamics of connection: What do the silences between us reveal? How do we decipher the abstract landscape of our emotions?
Through this observational approach, the film aims to cast an empathetic light on the often-unseen complexities of love and romance.
