Installation
Convergence, an installation by The NOISE INDEX, presents a sonic impression of information saturation.
16-speakers, baltic birch plywood, custom software (real-time text-to-speech synthesis, trending Twitter topics), 315mm diameter.
The NOISE INDEX conceived of works that would illustrate the perceptual impact of the information age and the line between meaning and noise.
Presented at Cutlog NY, New York, May 10-13, 2013.
